Robam Bes Kravagn, Cardamom Picking Dance

Robam Bes Kravagn (Cardamom Picking Dance, Cardamom Harvest Dance) This folk dance originates from the Por ethnic group living in Kravagn District, Pursat Province. The Dance depicts a traditional ritual ceremony of the Por villagers before they depart to the Cardamom Mountains to collect specialised forest products.

The dance's choreography was revised in 1984, and is currently performed by dancers from the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts in Phnom Penh.
